Inspired by ’70s A.M. radio hits, Wooden Rainbow is by luthier Jeff Schreckengost, who spent this past winter salvaging trash scraps and flea market treasures to craft into functional pieces of art for April’s GA/GI Festival. Krampus carved pewter buttons, a 1960s bamboo souvenir tray and a polyester bird-print disco shirt are just some of the things you’ll recognize (or not) in this latest series from Ozma Instruments. Electronics by Paul Cunningham. Also featuring effects pedals by Dave Kuzy.
