The hours that Jeff and I spent on road trips making up fake band names were put to good use when Jeff created fake album covers for the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Special thanks to the people on Jeff’s Facebook page who came up with some of these names (honorable mention for “Bat Poone,” which I’d still like to see as an album cover).

Awesome! Jeff’s aunt is working on that movie…..I’m going to set hopefully tomorrow! How did he get the gig for the album covers….too cool!
Comment by Rachel May 31, 2011 @ 6:32 PMThanks, rach! Jeff has friends who work with the Pittsburgh Film Office, and they asked if he’d be interested in doing something like this since he has done band covers in the past. It was pretty fun helping him create fake ones. I hope you got to see your Jeff’s aunt at the set.

I’m only thinking of this now, of course, but why didn’t we think of HOT TAXI???
Comment by Liz May 20, 2011 @ 7:53 AMHOT TAXI! I’m trying to visualize this. But I don’t want to.

Comment by Sheryl May 20, 2011 @ 7:26 AMI loved that one too! He designed a few for Poncho’s Mother’s Vision too – the files were giant though and I didn’t have time to resize this morning. We’ll show you!
