The Long Way Home

Twenty-Ten

 

This past year was about discovery. It was Ocala and Salem, a yellow house and a beach. It was writing and editing. It was finding the perfect words. It was creating the best shot. It was adjusting happily to being a wife. It was almost losing two great friends, but taking the first steps in getting them back because you love them. It was eating chili cheese fries with my husband for breakfast and pancakes for dinner. It was “Jersey Shore” marathons and “Pawn Stars” Sundays. It was falling for mystery books from my childhood. It was letting go  and cleaning house. It was luck with art and luck with life.
